Personas

Learn how you can define reusable personas that all users can reference in their prompts.

The Personas feature allows users to define reusable personas that users can reference in their prompts. Personas act as shorthand for specific tones, or perspectives  (such as young people from Europe) to help ensure consistency across outputs from different AI models and users. Once configured, you can set your personas to be available to all users, making it easier to generate responses that align with brand voice, audience expectations, or specific marketing objectives.

Configure Personas

Users can configure personas in the Personas screen. To configure a persona:

  1. Navigate to the Personas screen.
  2. Click Create Persona.
  3. Select a Location, Language, and Gender for your persona.
  4. Set an Age range for your persona by sliding the two age markers.
  5. Click Next.
  6. Enter a Name for your persona. This should be unique.
  7. Toggle if you want your persona to be public. If public persona is On, the persona is available to everyone in your Narus workspace. If public persona is Off the persona is only available to you.
  8. Click Next.
Your persona card now appears on the Personas screen.

You can also add a persona through the chat by clicking Select target persona button > Create Persona.

Using Personas

Once personas have been created, they are easily accessible directly from the chat. When composing a prompt, click the Select target persona button and select a persona to generate responses tailored to that specific audience.

The selected persona is displayed at the bottom of the chat window. To cancel the selected persona, simply click the X next to the persona name.
